Beautiful Lakefront Cottage!

Hancock, MI

It's a cozy, two-bedroom lakefront home with a wide front porch. Enjoy swimming in the refreshing lake, or simply sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and watch the sunset!

The home is completely furnished, linens and kitchen utensils provided. There is great WiFi however the cellular service is spotty. There is a landline phone available for use.

It is located five miles from town, where there are numerous restaurants, shops, a ski hill, snowmobile and ATV rentals, and much more!

Within a mile of the home, there are beautiful cross-country, biking and hiking trails. Get away from your everday life and enjoy the peace and quiet of this area.

This cabin is great for a variety of reasons: it’s on the water, location, cleanliness, household supplies, comfortable bed. It had everything we needed for our vacation and was a perfect refuge after a day of touring the area or being on the beach.

Beautiful view and location
My wife and I visited Houghton to see our son who is a senior at MTU. The location of the cabin is very convenient. It was very cozy with a great view of the water and we enjoyed the fire pit and sunsets. We will definitely stay again.

Peaceful lake cottage
It was close enough to Houghton/Hancock for restaurants and evening activities, and a great launch point for visiting the Keweenaw peninsula. A great place to start your day by having a sunrise coffee or ending your day by with a drink during sunset on the porch. Will definitely be back!

A very comfortable base camp for all activities in the Keweenaw.
Very clean and comfortable. We used it for a base camp for our vacation in the Upper Peninsula. Twenty minutes from Hancock and Houghton and thirty minutes from Eagle Harbor, and Another fifteen minutes and your in Copper Harbor.

This property worked perfectly for our family of four - my husband and I and our twin 16 year olds. Loved the view, the WiFi was fast and strong, the place was clean and cute! We also had fun exploring the area as it was our first time in the Houghton/Hancock area!

UP adventure
Excellent location for first time UP exploring. Away from hustle and bustle of Parents week at Michigan Tech, a peaceful oasis with everything we needed and easy access to the peninsula. House was clean and comfortable, and the back porch view amazing. Would gladly come back!

Beautiful little lakeview cottage
Had a wonderful time resting and recharging here. It has a wonderful water view that really makes you feel isolated from the rest of the world. The mosquitoes got pretty nasty at night, but this is the UP after all; that's what bug spray is for :) Thanks for the great little getaway!

Well equipped and a wonderful view
Cottage had everything we needed for a one night stay. All appeared New and the beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the small Touches of fall. Sunset was unbelievable. Thanks for sharing your cottage!
