"Very clean, nice, and comfortable home. Its very convenient if you plan on riding the local trails. Since its an older house the stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom are quite narrow and steep, but not bad at all, just something to keep in mind. It is more of a guest house, but Threse and Mike were so kind and welcoming. We appreciated the time to chat with them to learn the history of the homes and see their beautiful garden. We would definitely come back again. "

"The Little Brown house was a modest place with a great location for us as I wasn’t sure just how we would spend our Keweenaw time since it split the difference between Houghton area and Copper Harbor. The house was clean and comfortable (including the bed) and everything we tried worked. The kitchen is very tiny and the kitchen supplies are on the tired side so we opted not to try to cook at all. The upside is we had the best meal out of our entire trip across the UP at the restaurant next...

"Loved it so much. Small and wonderful. Loved its proximity to the lake and the lighthouse. Worked wonderfully for us. It was clean, safe, quiet, remote tho we were able to find Vegan treats at the Genny and in Houghton. And, weirdly, tho I'm fairly meticulous the cleaner noticed I'd left one of my favorite blankets behind and returned it to me (for a fee) which was kind. "
