"Feeling so lucky to have found a perfect cottage near Indiana Dunes overlooking Lake Michigan. Beautifully decorated, plenty of room, private parking, exceptionally clean, and the most beautiful view. We spent hours on the big deck enjoying time with friends and lake coast. We could easily access the beach for walking and swimming. We are looking forward to returning next year."

"Loved the location close to the parks, the building and grounds. Room upgrade appreciated. Seniors and dog owners should know that stairs are needed to reach rooms, and some instructions for TV, air conditioning, etc. would be helpful. "

"We decided to take a last minute trip to Indian Dunes state/national park area with another couple. There were 4 adults and 4 kids, so we decided a 3 bedroom property would work for us. 1 bedroom for each couple and a bedroom for kids. However when we arrived, we quickly realized that this was actually a 2 bedroom cabin instead of a 3 bedroom cabin. The "3rd" bedroom has a small partial divider in the upstairs bedroom to divide the double bed from the other double bed and futon. This was VERY disappointing as now we had to put 2 of the children in the downstairs "game room." This game room had a door that would directly access the driveway. This is not ideal when you have young kids like ours. Now on top of this when we arrived at the cabin, the temperature was 83 degrees! They had a wifi thermostat, so at the very least they could have attempted to cool down the house before we arrived, but they made no such attempt. Several hours later, the temperature was not budging, so we contacted the rental management company. They stated they would get someone out there "as soon as they could." We ended up sleeping with the windows open in some of the rooms, because it was a cooler night, but extremely muggy. We made several attempts to contact the company and they never had it fixed the entire weekend. We were fortunate to have milder weather, but that is besides the point. They advertised AC, they should have reasonable AC. Among other issues there was mold in the coffee maker...."

"The house is clean, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has almost everything you need for everyday cooking. The house is conveniently located not too far from two beach entries and the Calumet bike trail. If you haven't brought your bike with you, you can rent it in two locations close to the house. Recommend it!"

"Central location to all we wanted to see. Spent a day in the city of Chicago and one in Michigan City. The Dune park was amazing. Owner was perfect to work with. Amazing stay!"

"A great space near to beaches, national and state parks, and several nice towns in the area. The indoor space was cozy and there was a quiet outdoor patio as well. Near to everything but also felt away from it all while there."

"We needed room for 10, and close to the beaches at Indiana Dunes. This home delivered! You can tell the host paid attention to details to ensure the guests had what they needed to be comfortable and the beaches were a very short drive! Don't skip the outlet mall! They had great prices too!"

"We had a wonderful time. This huge home was very comfortable for everyone. We traveled with our 4 adults kids and their families. Each family had their own private area, plus there were common areas for all of us to gather. Great place."
