"It was all good with the hospitality of the hosts and it is a beautiful home. but we got there after dark and in having to park behind the house where there is a long driveway to get to the front entry, it is not lite at all. This is an easy fix, but instead is a situation for an accident waiting to happen. That said, we would go there again, just need to be careful."

Stephane makes a fabulous breakfast, and accommodated my lactose intolerance with plant-based dairy foods. The living room was nice and when it rained we hung out there. "We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. "Beautiful surroundings and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Our extended family was up and our cottage down the road was full. This was a wonderful space to be close to family and still have privacy, quiet, and all the conveniences of home. Well appointed, clean and very responsive host. If the situation arises again and we love our family so we hope it does - we won't hesitate to return. Well done!"
