Beautiful seaside home, sea 400m, pub and coastal path. Sleeps 8. Pet friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"This is a great house for friends or family. Beautifully presented with very comfortable beds, sofas and chairs. The location is excellent for walking the coastal path, and Craster was quiet and welcoming, with good food at the Holly Fisherman. Even blue skies and sunshine! Thanks to our hosts for a great stay. "Loved Pyg Pen Cottage. Rock is a great central but quiet location close enough to Craster, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell as well as the Alnwick shops and Castle. Communication with the owner was exceptionally good. The property was spotless and very homely for the family with the kitchen well equipped. The enclosed long grassy garden in a quiet village location was ideal for our young Labrador, with an on your doorstep off-road 2.5km woodland loop being a bonus. For dog lovers looking for somewhere to relax, and no need to drive to a safe walk this is it. Will be rebooking for next year."
"Lovely location on main/only street in Alnmouth, near several nice pubs and restaurants- also, above a very nice pub. Bed was comfy and good size for two, decor was lovely and fresh, shower pressure was good, perfect cleanliness. Pub food is amazing and they easily found us a table. You get a key to the front door so if you come back after the pub has closed you let yourself in through the empty bar which was a cool experience. Helpful staff, nice varied breakfast options. Loved it. "
