"What a great stay! All the things we needed. The property is a short walk from the village. Property was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The wet room was so handy. As an FYI for parents there are stairs but can easily be blocked off as there is a door between the lounge and the stairs. All in all, were hoping to stay here again next year!"

"Really great place with plenty of rooms for a large group. The small carpet near the fire place was dirty and full of dog hair. There was not enough toilet paper considering the size of the house/ large group stay. kitchen paper towels, bath mats, body wash/shampoo was not provided neither we were told to bring our own. Overall very good place to stay, but some above points need to be considered. "

It would be a great place to stay at other times of the year as well We very much enjoyed Maggie’s baked treats and the Strawbale cottage holiday vibe. "A beautiful place with welcoming, caring hosts. Truely amazing. Maggie greeted me on arrival, with supplies for great breakfast in the fridge and delicious home made bread. Sunday morning I was delighted with a freshly baked muffin. The cottage was spotless and very peaceful looking on to a beautifully kept parklike garden. I will come again."

"This is definitely budget accommodation, the unit was not flash and the upkeep to our unit poor, washing machine didn't spin out (leaving clothes very wet) and the door jammed making it difficult to exit (lucky we didn't have to exit in a hurry. However, if these things don't both you then the location is amazing, and there is a good variety of facilities. "We were a family group of adults wanting a place to stay with our dogs and a place to moor our boat for water skiiing. We had that - although it was a bit of a rocky trek to the pontoon, but the outcome was worth it for that tiny inconvenience. It was paradise sitting on the deck with the wildlife singing. A rustic house that was clean and spacious and great for the 8 of us. Be careful of the maps app sending you from Eildon to the property via a four wheel drive track.which was not pleasant...
