"It was a wonderful solo stay. The outdoor vibe - manicured landscaping, lots of greenery and wide spaces to wander about. Indoor - beautifully curated pieces to decorate and warm up the place. The resort is made up of standalone little houses; not a high-rise building. Do expect lots of butterflies and insects from the gardens. And the odd toad here, and a lizard there once in a while. The breakfast setup is awesome - I looked forward to it everyday. "

"Very nice boutique hotel with small pool and lovely jungle setting with bamboo cabins. Rooms are nice and comfortable but small. Ok for 1 or a couple. We had our 2 year old so made it very cramped. Staff very friendly and really looked after our son. Good buffet breakfast and good lunch and evening restaurant. Bit more expensive than other hotels in the area but worth it. Close to walking street so ideally located."

"Unbelievable staff blessing your presence w gracious welcoming smiles every time we passed each. Shuttle service and breakfasts stellar and great location near every place you’ll want to be going. Only drawbacks are nothing but hard ergonomically incorrect chairs, no where to sit or meditate except for a hammock which was great. Showers weren’t that hot and body language wash and shampoo, couldn’t tell which one was which, had to take the squirted off, but that was it. You’ll be happy you booked...

"It was a great place except it is so far away from the town centre. If you are visiting just for a few days, it is inconvenient as you will either hire a motor bike or pay daily transport each time you want something from the shops. It is not a distance you can walk especially if you have been out drinking."

"We loved our stay here. The rooms are comfortable though not the newest. The location is great, a minute walk from the main street and on the bank if the river, so that you can enjoy the beautiful scene of the flowing river. The rooms are nicely, Woodley old style decorated. We stayed three in the room (two adults and a daughter) and it was very comfortable. It is surely a very good value for the money."
