**Review of Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield** I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cedar Court Hotel in Huddersfield, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The hotel boasts modern and comfortable accommodations, which are perfect for both business travelers and leisure guests alike. One of the standout features of Cedar Court is its excellent amenities. The free Wi-Fi made it easy for me to stay connected during my business meetings, while the on-site restaurant served delicious meals that catered to all tastes. We arrived 30 minutes early for check-in. I was unable to check in because the staff were doing a download. Suggest routine download done after the last checkout of the day. Reception was unmanned on numerous occasions. Breakfast particularly the hot meals not being replenished. We had to ask for two days running.

Room wasnt as good as previous trip, the table was unstable/rocky, the shower curtain was too long and brown at the bottom, the bath was stained, no plastic sanitary bags in the holder...however the evening meal was nice and they leant me a charger for my mobile which was good. All restaurant staff were pleasant.

The Hotel wasn’t what I expected! The accessibility to rooms was awful (steps were required due to the wheelchair lift not working properly). The bed linen was dirty, toilet rolls half empty, bathroom door was faulty and didn’t close properly. The staff were very apologetic! The sheets / pillows were changed. Additionally, toilet roll was provided. I did ask for another room but was informed no rooms were available.

Great stay with just a few niggles
Overall this is a lovely hotel. The room is great and the bed is the comfiest I think I’ve ever slept in. The shower is excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food and service in the restaurant were five star but the restaurant itself was a little chilly so we had to keep our coats on while we ate. The TV in the room was only picking up a weak signal so it was pixelating all the time and one of the handles on the window was broken and so couldn’t be opened

Really good value for money and staff were lovely and helpful. Good location, easy to access from M62 and good transport links to Halifax and Huddersfield. The room we stayed in could do with a refurb, especially the bathroom which didn’t meet our expectations. It’s evident this is happening throughout the hotel, as the communal areas were really bright and modern.
