"Great house, the most beautiful view of the lake. Beds were comfy and the fireplace was perfect for such a cold weekend. The dining table extends with an extra leaf which was great for our big group. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, tools etc. The game room was great for activities needing more space and the heater was fantastic. There’s lots of parking space in the driveway. "Five of us ladies had a wonderful weekend stay at the Carriage House! We especially enjoyed the themed rooms/areas of the house, the big kitchen, and the hot tub (although there were extensive instructions, we almost didn't use it because we didn't want to mess anything up). A charming property just minutes away from all the cute shops and restaurants in Stillwater. Would definitely stay there again sometime!"

"This house was perfect for our stay! So cute and cozy! Loved the dining room table- perfect for meals and games! The living room was perfect for family time and movie nights! The location was close to other activities in the cities that we were able to enjoy. The only issues were the doorknob on the upstairs bathroom came off from the inside and needs to be tightened. "The property is as pictured. It was only my husband and I but could definitely sleep 6 or more. The kitchen is spacious and modern with everything you’d need! It is convenient to a Cub grocery and cvs. I’m sure it’s great as a lake front property but too cold in November for sure! Very clean and good communication with the host! We’d stay here again!"

"We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. The hotel was quiet and secure and I appreciated the many amenities offered.
