Fully equipped 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo that sleep 6 comfortably. Wifi and cable included at the spectacular Deerhurst Resort, host property of the past G8 summit.
Pools, fitness centre, live music shows and casual and fine dining onsite. The condo is located by lake with a view of the golf course and pool.

The sleeping arrangements are 1 King and 2 Queen beds.

It was dirty and unprovisioned...I understood what I thought I had to bring, for the list provided, but not even a dish rag or paper towels is extreme. even the dish soap was watered down. I travel a lot and my family and I were very disappointed.

I tried to follow the instructions and start the dishwasher upon checking out, only to find that the dishwasher door wouldn't stay shut. i couldn't turn the machine off after it started and water was leaking out. I managed to get the machine off by pressing the off button really hard.

Nice family holiday!

My family stayed in this unit for one week. We have stayed at Deerhurst before so we knew what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at all the nice new amenities down at the waterfront. The beach is larger and the use of the kayaks, paddle boards and canoes is a nice plus not to mention the water park! We found the condo as pictured in the listing. There were only two issues we had. The pots and pans are in need of replacement. I really didn't want to use them as they were so scratched up. The other issue was the drain in the master bedroom as it was clogged. My husband was able to unclog the drain so we were able to resolve one of the issues ourselves. All in all we had a great holiday!

Needs a thorough cleaning

Unit was very dated, barely any kitchen utensils, no soap provided in the kitchen, very little toilet paper (had to bring our own) no towels, no linens, one very thin, small garbage bag which was unusable. Fireplace didn’t work. We called our contact who returned our call (after 2 messages from us) said they’d send someone but no one showed up. The only thing we enjoyed was the view out the sliding doors - that we couldn’t lock

Overall, this property was good for the price. The pans need to be replaced. We could use basics like toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap which I was surprised they didn't provide. There could be more instructions as to what to do with garbage on the info sheet in the unit. I could not find the garbage bin. For out of towners, it is a bit of a hassle to bring your own sheets/bedding but I can understand due to Covid times.

Been there 3 times...doing what they can due to covid restrictions. Unit was large and has 2 full bathrooms...i think the listing says 1.

Great time at Deerhurst Resort

We have stayed at this property two times and both have been really good experiences. The check-in process was easy and communication with Frank was quick. I suggest bringing toiletries and you own pots and pans if planning to cook during your stay. The amenities in the resort are great.

Great place to stay in the Muskokas

We enjoyed our week at Frank's condo. The place was as pictured in the ad, and spotlessly clean. Comfortable living room, and the fireplace and A/C both worked well. Deerhurst is a great location for Algonquin Park trips and only 5 min to Huntsville for groceries and restaurants. We did not use any of the resort amenities other than the hiking trails so cannot comment on them, although I loved the artwork at the main lodge. Hiking trails needed some maintenance but did enjoy the viewpoints and the walk. Loved the golf course view from the balcony, and the air smelled so fresh. Groundskeepers do start early so a couple times we heard them at 7am. We added coffee filters and a can opener to the kitchen, and a light bulb for one lamp - minor issues. In addition to sheets, pillowcases, towels, bring dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, tissue, and garbage bags as none of these were provided. We forgot to bring towels but Walmart is 10 min away so no big deal. Dishwasher soap and hand soap were provided. I'd stay here again as it was very convenient. Frank was quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks!

Lovely holiday long weekend
