Hutto, in the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area, is a friendly town that is growing so fast it’s hard to keep track of its latest attractions.
Named after James Hutto, a wealthy cattleman in Williamson County, this Texan town has come a long way since its farming days. In fact, Hutto’s population grew by more than 1000% in the first decade of this millennium and there are no sighs of it slowing down. But don’t worry, you can still see some of the area’s past in the Hutto Commercial Historic District and the Victorian architecture of the Old Town.
