"Stayed for one night with my husband. Plenty of parking. The one member of staff (30. Oct 2024) who checked us in, cooked our dinner, and cleaned up was awesome. We found it a little inconvenient to exit the reception area to re-enter the area with the rooms, especially as it was drizzling. The kitchenette was stocked with the necessary tools for self-catering. The sauna and hot tub were clean and adequate. Unfortunately, our shower flooded the entire bathroom. We had stayed also in the main hotel portion on our return to Reykjavik and enjoyed staying in the mail hotel more. Breakfast was typical for Icelandic hotels....but good. The room cost was reasonable, but you are located outside of the main area. This was ok for us since we were renting a car."

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable.
