"We came to Hyde Park from Richmond, Annapolis and Boston for our daughter’s graduation. With six of us, renting a house made more sense than spending for multiple hotel rooms. This cottage is delightful - clean, perfectly appointed and extremely comfortable. The host is gracious and very responsive. Highly recommended!!!!"
"We had a truly wonderful time at The Gem Stone Home! Our family of eight was able to comfortably stay here, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for. Check-in and check-out were simple and stress-free. The location was perfect—centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The owners, Nanci and Jim, were fantastic—so easy to work with, responsive, and kind. The home had everything we needed and more. It was the ideal setting for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others"
"Valerie and Eric were great hosts, very warm, inviting and knowledgeable about the area regarding restaurants and sightseeing. Check in/check out was easy. The rooms were beautiful and spotless. Not all rooms have en-suite bathrooms, but if your room doesn’t have one, a private bathroom is reserved for your use only that is steps away. And the breakfasts were great!"

"My husband and I stayed for a summer weekend with our little dog. The apartment is small and cute which was perfect as we spent most of our time in the backyard. The yard was so lovely with a pool, grill, fire pits, lots of seating, pavilion and tv. The yard is not fenced, but felt very private. There’s even a view in the distance. The host and his family live upstairs, and I never even saw them. They left for much of our stay, but were very available through text. The studio had everything we needed for a weekend and was very clean. We enjoyed Walkway Over Hudson and New Paltz is very close. We would love to visit again next summer! "
