"The property is beautiful and well equipped. The location amid the fields of olive trees is just amazing. The view on the bay is breathtaking. We have enjoyed quite a lot our stay. The only dark side is the check in process by a local greek employee which is terrible. No help at all for finding the house which is even hard to find for locals. "Hidden gem in the Peloponnes! Lovely pool; long enough to swim a few laps. Quiet rural area just 10 minute drive to Methoni and the beach there. "This isn’t the newest, sparkliest rental house - it’s a home, and feels like it…everything you need, well equipped kitchen, lots of comfy furniture and places to relax. It’s not far from great beaches, Methoni town is quiet, and lovely, but near the main road so good for accessing supermarkets and other places to visit. Simon was there when you needed him, but discreetly available (he lives on site) and really friendly. The pool is great, and we had it to ourselves a lot. Amazing wildlife! And...

"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. Private lessons are absurdly expensive and they have not managed to create a 'Club' feel at the tennis by organising age group or ability clinics which are so important for kids to make new friends. The dining options are very good and the food is of a high standard (although quite a few restaurants were closed by late Oct which was disappointing). The place is crazy expensive - €5 for one Karaoke song or €50 for an hour's padel is not going to encourage people to try it with their kids. The buggy system if you have U18s is tiresome - you have to have a buggy but cannot drive it if you are U18 so if 2 kids play you have to have 2 adults driving the buggies (and they charge you for the extra buggy that you do no "

"Literally right next to road going through this small town ( if road noise bothers you). Nice lobby with restaurants literally behind it and market across street. Inexpensive stay for nights sleep on the road exploring. Host didn’t even ask for my Id just Gave me the key! Later he was not at the desk but found him sitting at the restaurant out back and was my host there too. Large bathroom was nice. Fridge in room and tea provided "
