"This property is located in the heart of walkable Reykjavik and was hosted by a wonderful, English speaking Icelandic woman. Breakfast was served every morning with local Icelandic fare at a community table with other European quests. My only criticism: we were put in the lower level quest room with a side entrance with no instructions on how to find our room. We also had a rental car and parking was in an adjacent public parking garage, which was expensive to park in. Otherwise, this was a very...

"Modern hotel. Extremely clean (and I get easily "skeeved" at hotels), really good food and helpful, friendly staff. They did give us a wake-up call, as promised, when the Aurora appeared. I would absolutely recommend this hotel - but it isn't cheap (but nothing in Iceland is). I feel it was worth the money. I didn't love Vik but it did have everything a traveler needs, in town."
