Secluded Mountain Getaway

If you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway with a nice view of the valley, this is just the right place for you. Set in 24 secluded acres on South Fork mountain this beautiful cabin backs up to Whiskeytown National Forest for hours of mountain biking and hiking.
Sit on the deck and watch the wildlife or take a short hike down to the creek and do some rockhounding. Play some cornhole in the yard and BBQ, or play chess and do puzzles in the den.

We have two double kayaks which can be transported to the lake easily as they are inflatable, for your use.

We also have a small barn with a corral to house a couple horses, if you wish to bring them.

We provide lake towels and beach chairs and the house has a washer and dryer.

We provide eco soaps and shampoos.

All cleaning is done with eco products and the showers and tubs are steam cleaned. All surfaces are sanitized for your protection.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Second stay at the house and loved it very much. Quiet and secluded. Kids loved exploring on the property and we enjoyed cozy fires and watching movies at night.

The property was everything it was promised to be and more. We loved the views and sitting out on the deck in the evening. The home is spacious, well laid out and there is everything you need for a stay away from home. Robin and Bill were so helpful and welcoming.

Wonderful getaway

Robin’s place was absolutely wonderful. It was a wonderful place to get away to. Secluded, private, and beautiful. The cabin is spacious and extremely comfortable and Robin left us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. Would love to go back when it is not pouring rain!

Beautiful location to relax and enjoy family time!

We had a wonderful stay with my husband's family visiting from Germany. It was super nice to have ample space to socialize, enjoy the peace and quiet at this house and so much more. I cannot say enough good things about this property. Deep in the heart of the mountains/hills and breathtaking views. The place was spotless and had everything we could need to enjoy our weekend away. I’m already trying to plan my next visit. So peaceful!

Beautiful House Amazing setting,SweetOwners

If you want peace and quiet and the feeling of being in the country, great views and to watch beautiful birds and wild life plus a beautiful house with everything you need this is it. Plus it is close to some markets if you need groceries. There are many hiking trails very close by and the owners are really nice people.

Great quiet place to unwind and be away from the city

the hostess Robin was very responsive and the place was very clean and nice. the location is not close to shopping or restaurants but great for us since we were tryin to get away from the crazy city. the hostess Robin and her husband were super nice and tentive. we had fun and will be back soon!

Archery tournament

We shoot the Western Classic trail shoot every year and love this place. Much better than a motel and cheaper when split with friends. It's very beautiful and peaceful. Going to stay for a third time.

Wonderful quiet getaway

I loved this property. I'm always on the lookout for quiet places to get away to. This property was the best I have found. Everything was quiet and perfect. Space was as advertised and everything was great. A lot of reiews mentioned the driveway, it is quite the trip to the property but in my mid-sized sedan it handled it fine. I don't think I would want to drive it in the dark but we had no issues. I would definitely return here in the future.

The power in the region went out for a short spell but Bill came by to hook up the generator before we recognized the power was off. Always a pleasure staying here. Good facility, great view, no neighbors.

Quiet & Peace in this well equipped property...

We wanted a place away from the hustle bustle of life and this property was the ideal answer. Very secluded, great views, large floor plan with all the basic amenities taken care of. Plus Robin (our hostess) is so helpful and responsive to all our questions and minute needs. Thorough enjoyed our 4 day stay here - highly recommended if you want to get away from active city life for some peace and nature.

Great place, amazing host

This home exceeded our expectations! Beautiful views, great house. We stayed with our 3 kids and 2 dogs. Plenty of room for all of us. We used the provided kayaks at Whiskeytown lake, played in the creek running through the property and had a great time. The host was so kind and a great communicator.
