"A very nice site with trees and bushes separating the chalets from each other so there's some privacy. It's very quiet at this time of the year so perfect for what we wanted. Very close to the beach; 500 meters. Nice walks nearby. Chalets are well equipped and quite spacious with a deck for sitting. Car park space. The soft furnishings could do with replacing/refurbishing as they're beginning to show wear and tear. Weak WiFi which has been promised to improve but hasn't. However, none of this...

Firstly, the hotel has no parking and the streets all around are full of cars looking for a parking space…we spent 40 minutes looking and ended up 15 minutes walk from hotel. "Great place to stay, good value for the money! A note that it was very quiet in Royan and considered out of season ( our whitsun week off school) therefore it was hard to get a meal later than 7 and their was practically nobody around! The hotel was good for what we needed it for so that was our main priority"
