Surprisingly spacious quiet room and bathroom. In centre of Ilkley so next to all shops and restaurants. Nathan,who was check in staff, was polite cheerful and very helpful. Enjoyed my stay

Great hotel, fantastic staff, excellent location

This is a great hotel/pub in an excellent location in the centre of Ilkley. The landlord and his staff were all super friendly and could not do enough for us. We were given an upgrade on our rooms, and were allowed an early checkin despite the place being really busy for Mothers Day. Breakfast was particularly good - especially the scrambled egg and three-pan-omelette - highly recommended if you’re staying here :-)

Amazing stay!

The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, the bed was super comfy! The food was good and reasonably priced and the breakfast was amazing! All the staff were super friendly, would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Black Hat. Tony was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble; from his friendly welcome to help with car parking. Ilkley is a lovely quaint town with great shops, restaurants and bars.

Lovely staff but was unaware that the place is not ‘manned’ at night which made me feel a little vulnerable The meal options were ok but very ‘pub food’ which is fine so long as you know that beforehand On a positive note lovely room and convenient location but WiFi not great

Relaxing in Yorkshire

Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The en suite fully stocked with toiletries and clean towels. Thank you to Jonell for servicing our room, keeping it stocked with beverages and snacks.
