"On my way home from Vegas, I decided to take a detour and visit Joshua Tree. I was happy to know that there was a Holiday Inn Express just miles from the North entrance to Joshua Tree. "Great for the price. Good location. Room had a minifridge and microwave. Seems it and the Oasis next door are in the midst of renovations. Check in was across the parking lot, in the Oasis. Only one guy on the frontdesk, not enough for the two hotels, and also fielding calls. Bit of a wait to check in. Carpet was moderately clean. Wallpaper looked new, but coming apart at the seams.
