There is no railing up the so called stairs to the gate. Rather than trying going down or up this way, we walked through weeds on so called grass until we felt safe to access street. It's a little out of the way in San Miguel, but overall it's in a quiet spot, still easy to get to Paso Robles and Templeton, and all the area has to offer. Even little San Miguel has some charm with some local restaurants, a historical bar...the Elkhorn, and the Mission and adobe for a little history. "We were interested in something a little different on our recent wine trip to Paso Robles. This little town is about 25 minutes north on 101 and world apart. Lots of quirky but interesting decor especially outside. It would be a great place for kids especially with a merry go round in the back yard and so much space to run around. Inside was homey and comfortable. The service from the host was superb. We will definitely be back."

"My husband and I planned a getaway for our 1 year wedding anniversary and this location was great! So quiet and relaxing. The property was clean and stocked with what we needed (toiletries). It was so peaceful and loved seeing / hearing the animals. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and well kept. And the gas grill worked properly. We didn’t have any contact with the host / owner.
