Very neat hotel in the middle of Fountain Square! Charming rooms that have a historical vibe to them. Roof top bar, duckpin bowling, and speakeasy...all in the same building.
Highly recommend for a unique experience for your trip to Indianapolis.
We loved this Inn. The room was so clean and has anything you need for a comfortable stay.
I was promptly greeted by Eric who gave me the key, and a quick briefing on the elevator, room, etc.
We absolutely went nuts for our room, 309, which was a well curated mid century room. We love the history of the Inn and area. You can have a fun night and not even leave this building. We hope to stay again.
I liked the uniqueness of the property. The old bowling alley in our building was from the area we are from. My husband knew the family. Everything was great except you have to deal with allot of street noise, and building noise until the early morning hours.
I grew up in Indy and really enjoy all the improvements the city has made.

This Hotel was far from Boutique in any way other than I've never stayed anywhere like it. The building its self is indeed historical and on the National Register. First floor is Bar and restaurant that I would not eat at due to the cleanliness upon entering. 2nd floor is low income apartments and 3rd floor consisted of 11 Hotels rooms that upon first impression seemed cute and nostalgic. But it was more like a college dorm room with miss matched furnishings. We book this room for a concert in downtown Indianapolis. Spent over $250 for 2 queen beds. Which would be a reasonable price if it was true to how it was presented on website. Did I also say 4th floor bowling alley. Was informed after I booked the room the the lane was right above but bowling stops at 11pm. No problem I thought we wouldn't be back from concert until about then. The bowling continued until 12:30!!! Then some strange pressurized rattling started in the entered wall...it was 20-25 min of noise. By 1 am the hotel room was quiet but soon the out side alley noise starts. Windows single pane wood 1970's. Worst hotel ever. It's not really a hotel its a menagerie. By the way this is the first review or compliant i've ever posted!
Excellent personal service. The room was very large and all amenities that we could need.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The road noise and nightlife around this property was really bad. People yelling and loud cars reviving their engines at late hours. I’m used to a fair amount of urban noise, but this was a lot. The room itself was good, although ours in particular had a water leak issue that caused water under the laminate floors (I’m sure the staff will deal with after our stay). Room was nice and cool and in otherwise good condition. Good bus connectivity.
Staff met us at place. Gave us actual keys and explained building entry and elevator use. Room was clean and well equipped on street parking was free. I will be staying there again when I come back.
You had to walk a couple of blocks from parking, but parking was free. Very spacious room, clean and very comfortable. Loved the kitchenette with dishes and utensils provided. Seemed like a safe area.
Everything was great, other than all the young adults partying at the bar on the roof. There was a lot of loitering at the doors and in the lobby area. I think there needs to be security helping with that.

Everyone was very kind and helpful! It’s definitely a small, unique inn on the 3rd floor of an old building with lots of character. Lots of food options around. Parking is on the street but free.
My only complaint is the noise and the rugs in the bathrooms were a slipping hazard (might need something with some grip…my dad fell pretty hard when it slipped out from under him). The walls are thin, but it’s an old building.
Overall, a pleasant and charming stay.
