"Really great hotel in a charming, quiet little town on the Danube. Super room—clean, comfortable, well decorated. Dedicated bicycle storage. Great breakfast. Terrific hotel (and I have been cycling the world for the last 900 days, so know a good one when I find one). "

"Der Heiderhof is a very classy hotel. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and a very helpful staff. The spa and work-out room were wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. There is not much to do in the immediate area but it is only 10 minutes to the city center and perhaps 20 minutes to all the outdoor activities of the AltMuhl nature preserve. My one disappointment was the bed. It was very hard, the pillow too flat, and the comforter too thick for a summer evening. I did not sleep well...

"i had to stay the night due to a late meeting, looked for something in the 3-4 star range, the room was big and comfortable, but there were to many down sides to my stay: 1. internet in rooms via LAN, really? in what year are we? so i could not use it for my phone or tablet. 2. the bathroom was not clean, i do not have blonde hairs... 3. it was hard to get service in english, i expected more from a hotel that caters mostly business clientele."
