"Great stay for husband and I and our dog. Quiet, peaceful. Cottages are dated but clean. Queen mattress was wonderful. Did not givev 5 stars because hot water knob in shower was barely useable, ready to fall off. Kitchen faucet also flimsy. Floorboards are soft. "This is a little overdue, however I definitely wanted to post this. So I rolled in here on Friday February 2nd for a skiing weekend at Cape Smokey, and was due to check out Sunday morning February 4th...but after 120 cm of snow over the weekend, I didn't get out until February 6th. "This cottage is a lovely spot that we enjoyed as we began our four-day journey around the Cabot Trail. Good place to start that trip if you are going counter-clockwise as we did. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The snug cottage had everything we needed. Nice trails on the property to stroll on. Overall a very nice experience here. "

Lovely property with access to hiking trails right on site and just a short walk to the ocean.
