"The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. "The apartment we stayed in was great. It was much more spacious than I expected and had everything we needed. We loved having the washer/dryer in unit to catch up on laundry during our trip around the south island. My wife was bothered by the incense or scented oil smell they used here. It was on the excessive side. The parking was also not ideal. They do have 'on-site' parking near the hotel entrance but it's a very small lot. It’s very private and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a very easy short walk to a beautiful park with trails, sculptures and a rose garden.
