"First time in the Gateway, reception was very friendly, check in was easy. room was a good size, chairs and table meant you didn't have to lie on the bed to relax. Bathroom was well equipped. Room was hot even with radiators off. The Gateway was very handy for town centre, 4-5 min walk. The Bistro is excellent, very friendly and helpful staff and nothing was too muvh trouble. Were going to book again for our next break but fully booked at the time we would like. Definitely recommend a stay...

"The owner let us in showed us around the property and left. We didn't know that there were other guests as no one was there when we arrived. They obviously weren't happy about us being there we cold hear them through the walls arguing about us being there that we were gonna eat their food downstairs in the kitchen. It made for a stressful stay we couldn't wait to leave in the morning early! The house is lovely, but they were doing construction next door and they showed up early to move...

"The breakfast was very well done. The pillows could be better. The place was very clean. I think small mirror in the bedrooms would be good as the bathroom is shared. Also i think little tables in the bathrooms would be nice so you would have more place to put your toiletries. Parking was great and convenient. Thanks Peter for your hopitality "
