"We loved our stay. No time to fish but thoroughly enjoyed the captivating view of the lake through the 3 sliding glass doors out to the deck. We met in Donalsonville to take in a football game in Tallahassee. Avoided the crowds & high prices of staying close in. The home was perfectly stocked with everything we needed, ie Hilton could not have done it better. We will plan a fishing guide with a pontoon boat when we can come back for a longer stay. Thanks for your hospitality!"

"Where to even start?! I was blown away from the moment I stepped through the door and again as I turned every corner. This was such a beautiful place to stay and I will cherish the memories we made here forever. The ceilings, the chandeliers, the pipe organ, the rafters in the kitchen. Those stained glass windows though...I could just sit and gaze at them all day. The TV is huge which goes well with the high ceilings. "We came in on Wednesday night and stayed until Saturday. Everything was nice except the floors were not as clean as they could’ve been we had to wipe up syrup off the floor by the table after having stepped in it. But other than that it was quite nice. Love the front porch room loves the view of the water. we would stay there again and hope they clean the floors this time"

"The house was really nice and cozy. The door was a bit of a pain but nothing to make me take away any stars. The neighborhood is so quiet and I loved sitting at the picnic table listening to the boats. We couldn't figure out how to get the satellite TV to work but that is alright we enioyed having family time. Will stay again."

"This property was exactly as listed. It was just ideal for our needs. The owner was warm and welcoming, and we felt like honored guests upon arrival. She explained everything and showed all of the conveniences and modern upgrades like Star Link internet and streaming TV. The country charm of the cottage was just what we needed after busy days. "Wonderful host, you couldn’t ask for anything more! We could have hung out and chilled with her and her husband. Very clean and comfortable stay on the lake, we were working, but it sure made life great! Everything you would need, if it’s not there they will go out of there way to get. "Excellent check-in. Motel is completing refurbishment. Room 212 was a tiresome walk for two seniors, no elevator. Room and furnishings we new and clean. Ample USB ports, 1 found at each lamp. Bath, very nice and upgraded with all new fixtures, separate from sleeping area. Breakfast was adequate, sausage with biscuits and gravy, toaster waffles, cereals, coffee, tea and juices.
