"This house is incredible. I've never stayed in a place as beautifully crafted and in such a beautiful rural setting. We cooked 4 nights as well and found the kitchen and outdoor grill to be well stocked. Our group was a family of 4 - kids were 18 and 14 years old. During our 5 nights stay we visited the nearby French Basque towns (including Espelette), we day-tripped to San Sebastian, went to Bayonne, Saint Jean de Luz, and Hendaye. Really fun week!"

Sophie and Denis are very nice hosts , and will help you in any way they can . The village of ASCAIN is very good for numerous walks , and you have a good choice of bars and restaurants , which is 5mins by car , and the coast is not too far away. "The room was a very standard for the price but had the advantage that mine was on the ground floor with a door that opened onto a small lawn (useful when travelling with a dog). The breakfast had a very good selection. The parking area was ample and the area felt secure."
