Booked a 2 bedroom unit (1 King Bed and 1 Queen bed) for a short getaway.
The room allocated was equipped with two queen beds. As we have intended for our young child to sleep in between us to avoid rolling over the bed, we went to the Reception and queried about it. The male staff initially explained that the assigned room was dirty and still being cleaned and that his colleague should have informed us about the swopping of room. We explained that we need a king bed for the safety of our child. The staff then explained that there is no more king bed apartment as an existing guest had extended his stay. We requested adding a single bed to our room as the 3 of us can't possibly fit on a Queen bed. The staff replied that adding a single bed will have additional cost. We told the staff that they should then provide the room that we have booked, and after sometime the staff agreed to add the bed "on a goodwill basis".
Some other issues during the stay:
1. We were unable to find a hairdryer and went to Reception to request for it. A staff then responded that she will inform Housekeeping and it will be sent after 7-10 mins. The hairdryer was never sent till the next day when we requested again at Reception;
2. The wooden frame holding the main door security latch was dislodged;
3. The bidet spray hose was disconnected;
4. The children's playroom was closed on both visits;
5. Strong and unbearable odour smell in the main bathroom.
