"Enjoyed the spacious living area; however, the house definitely needs care and could be cleaner. If you are not a fan of SPIDERS this house may not be for you! A good sweep down of webs and even exterminator would be beneficial. But I hate spiders!! Ack!!Location is a plus and kitchen is very nice. Washer/dryer on-site and an abundance of towels, also a plus. Perhaps a winter visit but due to spiders inside and out we would not stay spring through fall. Beautiful scenery though!"

"We had a great time kayaking and sitting by the lake. It was very peaceful and quiet. The views of the lake are awesome. The big screened in porch was great for sitting in at night and playing games. The house is rustic and has everything you need."

"We booked this home in North Hero for a familly gathering and we all were very impressed with all it had to offer. Being directly on the lake we had everything we were looking for. The large interior space is comfortable and well appointed. The outside area with a boat dock, campfire area, and screened in porch allowed us to enjoy the perfect August Vermont weather. The fishing is also very good right off the dock. "

Mallets bay is somewhat sheltered from the main lake so the waves were smaller when the wind picked up. Plenty of rooms and beds for a family of 4 couples and 3 grand kids and dog friendly. "Was such a great stay. The first overnight stay for my puppy and he loved it too. Was a beautiful sunset across Lake Champlain. Watching the sun hit the lake from behind in the morning with coffee from the deck is something that is hard to forget. "

The pool house was filthy. The bathroom waste baskets were full. The swimming pool and hot tub water was cloudy. We checked the chemicals and found high Ph and very little chlorine.
