"The Lochaline Hotel is located in the tiny village of Lochaline, which is reached by a rather long drive on a single-track road. Although remote, the hotel rewards a stay with its peacefulness. It is located right on the sound. The ferry runs frequently to Mull and no reservation is needed. Our hosts were warmly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the sound. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order."

"Suite was beautiful. One of the nicest we've stayed in Scotland. Self-serve breakfast and snacks in our suite were delicious, ample, and restocked. Loved it. A little out of the main part of town, but it takes seconds to drive and minutes to walk. "

"The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great."

"The owners of property friendly, nothing to much trouble for them. Scenic views Breakfast was lovely and hot but not keen on bread for toast. The only thing I would remark on, is property not well signposted off the main road and could do with some repairs to potholes"

"A great central location, with good on road parking. The apartment is comfortable and very well equipped. Some sofa beds can be a nuisance but this one is easy to use and has good instructions. All in all, a good apartment that we would use again!"

"Incredibly beautiful location, very peaceful!! Views of isle of Mull. And everything you need on site, except it's a bit far from provsions, so prepare by stocking up with groceries, petrol and beverages before you get there. "

"Great place for accommodations in Tobermory. Property management had clear instructions on how to get in and how to work things in the apartment (eg. Pull out bed) plus lots of information on the island available. It was clean and ideally located on the Main Street with only about an 8 min walk to the buses at the car park. "

"The property is a delight. It’s cosy clean and warm. Not many places offer a view of an ancient castle. Richard shows huge interest in how guests recycle. The compost bin meant all our food waste doesn’t go to land fill. It’s our second time staying in Castle Cottage and would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a place to stay. "

"This VRBO in Tobermory is perfectly located in town. It is new, very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to recommend it Shops and restaurants in town are right there, and the restaurant (MacGoshan) and Tobermory Distillery are within minutes. "This was our first visit to the Tower but not to Ardnamurchan. Everything about it was perfect, except that on this occasion our stay wasn’t long enough! Very welcoming owners, everything spotless and beautifully decorated, and even a sunny balcony with view to Loch Sunart over the tree tops. Loads to do in the area so the Tower is a perfect base. "
