"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"Le Pigeonnier is a very well-thought out holiday home which was extremely comfortable for four families. A very well-equipped kitchen, we loved eating outside, pool and pool area great, lovely garden space for the children, volleyball/table tennis/pool were enjoyed. "Helpful host who adjoins the property so any issues easily resolved as they are on hand. Was very hot when we stayed and although fans provided it made sleeping in the mezzanine very warm. The pool was a welcome relief and kept spotlessly clean by the host who shut it down each evening and cleaned each day. Lovely welcome ‘basket!’ of wine, bread, pizza etc. great location to visit Saint Emilion, Bergerac etc and lots of fabulous markers. Would stay again"

"Très belle maison, avec de beaux volumes, parfait pour les amoureux de la campagne ! Nous étions 2 adultes, 5 enfants et 1 chien, 1 semaine en août. La maison conserve bien la fraicheur, et les différentes expositions au soleil permettent d'en profiter toute la journée. Le terrain est très grand, les enfants se sont régalés à observer les chevreuils, voir les poules, et construire des cabanes dans le bois. Jessy est un hôte très prévenant, à l'écoute et très arrangeant. La région est magnifique....

"We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. Sonia and Mark are consumate well experienced hosts who always try to accommodate any requests where possible. We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return.
