A charming two bedroom house full of natural light in a private location. Just two miles from Cornell in the very quiet hamlet of Varna. Both bedrooms have a queen Tempur-pedic mattress as well as their own cable TV. The living room has a gas fire place for your enjoyment and a pull-out couch which can sleep two people. The kitchen is fully equip and with a Keurig coffee maker and coffee as well as everything you need for cooking. A private fence-in back yard with a deck, suitable to hold a dog. During summer months a grill and outdoor furniture is provided for your relaxation.

We had a great time staying at this house. Everything was as described in the listing. The house was very conveniently located to Cornell campus. It had very well stocked kitchen and what was really nice both bedrooms had excellent mattresses, which is not always the case in vacation rental properties. Would highly recommend this place if you want to come to Ithaca.

House was just as shown in the photos. Easy checkin and checkout. Lovely back yard with comfy deck furniture, table and grill - great for a summer afternoon! Inside has all the comforts of home. Hosts were super responsive and helpful answering all my questions! Highly recommend.

Great stay
I grew up in Ithaca and was visiting family with my partner so I know some Ithaca houses can be a bit odd or unfinished. However, this property was a perfect place for us and went above and beyond my expectations. I cook a lot and the kitchen was fully stocked which was a major plus. Everything was super clean and as pictured. We would have stayed longer if it wasn’t booked up for the weekend- hope to be back one day!

Very nice and well appointed
We had a great stay at this small and cozy home. While the house was small every room was equipped with charming comforts. It was a pleasure. It was nice to stay in a place that was so thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. The beds were awesome. We wanted for nothing and the fit out was top notch, from the utensils to the towels.

Exceeded our Expectations
We really loved our stay at Rita's and Ron's Ithaca home. The house was perfect for our needs and very well cared for plus super thoughtfully decorated and appointed. We could not believe the generous coffee supply which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house had everything we could want and we are already talking about a return visit when the weather is warmer and can spend more time on the deck. Thank you so much to Rita and Ron for creating and sharing such an inviting space.

Amazing
We checked in very easily with a light snow falling all around us. The home was warm and cozy. The kitchen was beautifully outfitted and there wasn't anything I could have wanted that wasn't there. The house was clean and comfortable. The two bedrooms were perfect and I felt like I was in a five star hotel with all of the extras. My dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard and nature to watch all around us. We had an amazing time making breakfast for my son's birthday and visiting with him for his football banquet at Ithaca College. Thanks for a beautiful weekend!

Home away from home!
Our host did not spare any details in their home for visitors. We had a full kitchen which came in handy for our family. We had access to a washer and dryer and it was great to be able to park in the garage. I personally loved the Keurig with a nice variety of coffee pods. We felt right at home. Thank you Rita!

comfy, clean and peaceful
We have been renting in Ithaca for a few years and this is our new favorite house. Rita is responsive, friendly and very accommodating- from the first email. The house is cozy and clean, the furniture and beds are very comfortable. We spent most of Sunday lazing around the house. The kitchen has anything you need and everything seemed new. Lots of coffee too. That's a nice touch, The back yard was perfect for our dog. I imagine it is lovely on the patio in the summer. Thank you Rita. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was the little things that really stood out!
I loved that we were able to bring our 4 dogs! They loved the yard & exploring the Finger Lakes. When we got back we had a warm, welcoming house to unwind. We took advantage of the gas fireplace. The beds were comfortable and the towels were so thick! What was really nice were the chargers in each bedroom. No searching around for outlets. Rita also left a ton of information on different places in the house & when I asked her for her favorites, she was more than happy to share them! Being allowed to park in the garage kept me from having to clean off my car in the mornings too! I will definitely recommend this property to friends & clients!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed in a well appointed kitchen, with the added bonus of free Keurig coffee pods and creamer. The living room and bedrooms were extremely comfortable with wonderful mattresses. A great location to explore the Ithaca area and the beautiful Cornell campus.
