"For a very old property (60 ) they did update to a heat pump, updated shower, touch mirror in bathroom. The electrical outlets are old and most have power bars to be able to plug anything in. You also needed to plug in the fridge as they unplug it between stays. The phone in the room doesn’t work. You need to use your cell to call front desk. To get the hot water, you need to let it run a good 5 to 10 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were ok. The windows are the older slider...

"There are not enough good words to accurately capture the beauty of this home and its surroundings. 10 stars out of 10! Would definitely stay here again! LOCATION: Located in the country (but all paved roads) was perfect to unwind and relax. Houlton was a quick drive away for any groceries if wanting to cook for yourself. The view from the back of the home begged for a moose to come strolling out from the distant tree line or a perfect inspiration for painting/capturing the beauty of fall...

"House is quaint. Enjoyed the wood stove after sitting on the deck playing games on a beautiful autumn day. One brave soul even took the paddle board out around the nearby island to get sunset pictures. Our host was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again if ever in Northern Maine.
