Beautiful Oceanfront Sailmaker, Pool, Amazing Views - Dog friendly!

Watch the Sun Rise Over the Atlantic! – You will love this Summer Beach Resort. Located on the south end of Amelia Island in the gated Summer Beach Sailmaker community. Full kitchen with updated appliances and countertops. Two-story, two-bedroom townhome includes one King bedroom, a second bedroom with two twins, and a sleeper sofa for additional guests. Beautiful live oaks provide a canopy of shade as you drive toward the community. There are walking and biking trails all along the way. Once you arrive, take a peaceful walk on the beach, read a good book, or enjoy the warm waters of the Atlantic. Don't feel like the beach? Sit and relax by the pool. When you return home after a day of fun in the sun, enjoy the amazing views from our private balcony.

Adventure seekers can go kayaking, sky diving, or horseback riding. Just a short drive to historic Fernandina and you can wander down Centre Street to explore a variety of wonderful shops and highly-rated restaurants. If you are a history buff, Ft. Clinch, on the north end of the island, is a must-see. It sits in a beautiful state park with amazing views, fishing, biking, and shelling. Amelia Island has something for everyone and it is just 45 minutes from Jacksonville International Airport. Book your trip today!

NOTES:
There are two parking spots available. One in the front of the building and one in the other row. Oversized vehicles will not fit.

Entry is on the second floor.

One dog is allowed, there is a non-refundable fee and guests must sign a pet addendum to the lease.

Guests will be required to sign a rental agreement with Coastal Wave Properties. Guest Instructions will be sent 7 days prior to arrival provided the agreement is signed and all payments are made. If you need information prior to this we are happy to provide it. We use a booking system called OwnerRez and you will see communication coming through this system.

Damage Protection is included with this rental but guests are responsible for damages in excess of the policy.
There is a $150 credit card hold for the security deposit. You will be notified if there are any charges and it is released 10 days after you depart.

We use email communication to sign our lease and provide guest instructions. Please be sure to provide an email address that you will have access to and that you can check regularly. We also use text messaging to send you the door code and other communication if needed. Please provide a mobile phone number that you will have with you during your stay.

We recommend that our guests, for their protection, purchase travel insurance.

Beautiful beach area
Had a bit of a glitch when we checked in, but it was taken care of promptly. Place was very accommodating for our family with young children. So be aware there is no plastic wrap or foil in the unit. We are cookers, so we use each wherever we are staying. Beach view was wonderful as was the beach.

Kitchen needs more supplies
Overall good week. We brought kcups for coffee, there was a drip coffee maker. I called the number provided and left a message. Never heard from anyone. Needed a complete set of pots and pans. Only small and large pot. Laundry room light was out. Had to use my computer to get cable. These are just basic things that I think could be upgraded with very little money.

Saw lots of turtles, which was neat! Glad we had ability to rent chairs/umbrella for the beach. Appreciated the beach chairs provided by the property, loved they had lots of blankets and pillows. Living room was decent sized and could fit our family of 4 (2 grown late teen boys). Kitchen was decently stocked. Washing machine is small, but fine for washing towels bathing suits as you throughout the week. Pleasant stay! Thank you!

The pictures on site seemed like the decor updated but not updated. Old decor ,odor of smokers in the past. We got used to everything quickly but unit needs updating and more supplies. Carpets stained, bedding old, toilets stick, window treatments dated. The location helps to ignore any issues . We have stayed at sailmaker 3 times prior and love the area. Unit clean.

Great location and beautiful view of the beach! Very clean and everything was there that we needed. Really dog-friendly area, which was great for us. The only draw-back was that we were expecting to be able to enter from the ground floor, but our unit didn't have a ground floor. This was really a challenge for our small beagle who was unable to get up the stairs and had to be carried each time. My husband has knee issues, so it was a challenge for him as well. Though I should have asked, it would be nice if those type details were included in the description of each unit. Overall, though, we had a really good experience. Thank you!

Although we haved loved visiting Amelia Island for 13 years and staying at Sailmaker for 10 of those years this condo was somewhat of a disappointment. We had to do some intial cleaning when we arrived and the living area and beds were very uncomfortable. This was very unexpected, especially with the elevated cost of the unit.

Everything went as planned. Nice place. It was a really good feature that the main room furniture had covers. We are always worried about the dogs messing up the furniture. Unless the A/C is improved I would not want to stay here during a hot summer. It was cool weather during our stay. Even with the cool weather it was warmer than I would like at night.

This property is excellently situated facing the ocean. Nice downstairs and adequate bedrooms. Definitely needs some easy maintenance (Eg fresh coat of paint, caulking etc. fun time all in all!

Great location! Always looked forward to coming back to the condo after a day of sightseeing or tours, sitting on the deck and just enjoying our view! The most walkable beach we've ever been on. Some restaurants are nearby if you don't want to drive back into town. Food is wonderful on the Island! I heard people playing pickleball every day not far away. When I called to try and set up a time to play, I was told I had to be a member of some Club. So that was disappointing. Yes you can plan outside of Fernandina Beach at Central Park, but it would have been very convenient to just walk next door. That was our only complaint. Otherwise, really liked this place and hope to return!
