"I was in Ranchi to watch the cricket. The Grand Regency was lovely. It is a little gem in an otherwise very ordinary area. The staff were brilliant and the hotel sparkling. I had reason to entertain a couple of friends there and it was perfect. One of the better hotels on my visit to India in my price budget."

"Generally, this stay of 6 days became more comfortable as we asked for things that were missing. The property is very run down, and. does not match the photos on Expedia. The complimentary breakfast in the front of the menu turned out not to apply to us. Breakfast. coffee /tea pot was not enough for two people. The shower water was sometimes hot and sometimes not. Taxi drivers etc found this property difficult to locate."

"Pls be aware do not book this hotel it is absolutely disgusting unhealthy and completely unhygienic. We had booked the room for 3 nights upon arrival we did not stay in room for more then two min as it was that bad. Room was not cleaned, stuff was broken, someone’s used soap was there in bathroom, mat was not even changed from previous guest. Just yikes all over one would get sick just staying there for an hour and they did not even refund our money "
