Loved the pool, garden & super-relaxed environment

Lovely place to stay. Room was basic but clean and cool. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area and garden are just pefect, especially the part under the palm trees.

Hyggeligt lille hotel, som ligger mellem Jambiani og Paje. Service og rengÞring pÄ hotellet var helt i top. Morgenmaden er rigtig god, men resten af menukortet halter lidt. Vi valgte istedet at spise pÄ de omkringliggende hoteller. Stranden har mange sten og tang, sÄ det var rigtig godt at have en pool.

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© 19 jours pour y passer nos vacances d'Ă©tĂ© et visiter l'Ăźle d'Unguja. Prestations de qualitĂ© avec un accueil personnalisĂ© par Goodluck ( manager ) accompagnĂ© d'un cocktail de bienvenue. Des petits dĂ©jeuner copieux et variĂ©s compris dans le prix ( assortiment de crĂȘpes, gĂąteaux, pain ainsi que des fruits et jus de fruits frais tous les matins ). Des repas excellents ( prĂ©parĂ©s par Hemed, le Chef...) avec du poisson frais ( ah, le fameux king fish, j'y pense encore... ) servi Ă  table et uniquement avec des accompagnements frais ( ici, on ne connaĂźt pas le surgelĂ© ) d'oĂč une attente d'1h environ. Les serveurs Hery et Juventus sont gĂ©niaux ( accueil souriant, toujours disponible et serviable ). Les chambres sont nettoyĂ©es et le linge changĂ© tous les jours ( les diffĂ©rentes prĂ©sentations originales quotidiennes des draps Ă©tait un rĂ©gal pour nos yeux, merci encore Ă  Mary pour la qualitĂ© de son travail et de sa conscience professionnelle ). HĂŽtel situĂ© Ă  40 min Ă  pied de Paje et 20 min de Jambiani. Des excusions privatives sont proposĂ©es par l'hĂŽtel et sont d'un rapport qualitĂ©/prix imbattable comparĂ© aux beach boys. Elles sont Ă  faire pour avoir une idĂ©e des diffĂ©rents aspects de l'Ăźle ( culture, dĂ©couverte, histoire, rencontres et richesse ) que de sa beautĂ©. Nous recommandons donc fortement cet hĂŽtel surtout si vous ĂȘtes Ă  la quĂȘte de bonheur, calme, repos servis par un personnel irrĂ©prochable et une vue exceptionelle. On y retournera sans hĂ©sitation :)

Piscine bienvenue lorsque la marée est basse.

Séjour agréable et reposant aprÚs une semaine intense de safari dans les parcs de Tanzanie. Petite structure donc pas trop de monde et pas trop de bruit. La plage est privée, on n'est pas harcelé par les beach boys qui proposent souvenirs ou excusions. La piscine est bien entretenue et bienvenue lorsque la mer s'est retirée. Les abords trÚs fleuris sont agréables. N'hésitez pas à vous promener sur la plage, au nord vers Paje ou au sud vers le village de Jambiani. Le personnel est fort sympathique et les cocktails bien servis !

Excellent family run hotel on the beach.

great stay with the staff and facilities excellent and the location right on the beach. Breakfast was good and they have a basic menu for lunch and evenings, although it does take time to order and arrive. A great little family run hotel at a reasonable price.
