"It was extremely dirty everywhere except for the room which was ok. Barely adequate. The bar/kitchen area looked completely abandoned as though some disaster had hit the place and everyone had run away. The basement area, where we eventually found out we had to make breakfast with mouldy bread was disgusting. There was a large dead cockroach in the sink and the walls were crumbling. "Staff were efficient and the staff person in charge of the breakfast buffet was friendly. Hotel was clean but the towels and bed linens were old and had holes. Carpet had seen better days. However, the room was comfortable and good for one night if you just need to crash after spending time at Jirisan. It's a bit far from city center and the more lively area but is decent in a pinch."

"The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. We had a view of the river from our window, which was nice. The back deck area on the river was a bonus, even if we didn't get to use it as we were away hiking most of our stay. It is a little far from town (you have to take a taxi or bus which are difficult to determine schedules for), but it is very near the Haweomsa Temple, the start of our hike. The lady at the front desk was very helpful."
