"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

"The property is exactly as described and shown in the photos. A modern well equipped kitchen is elevated with a Nespresso coffee machine. The monsoon showers are great and there are more entertainment systems than you could ever want, especially if you have a variety of ages in your party. "Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"

"Loved the outside area, pool is lovely and welcome with the heat in our 2nd week (~38C). Eating outside, under the cover of the wisteria plant was also a pleasure to avoid the sun. House is nice, particularly eating and living areas although the kitchen could be equipped better (utensils, mugs etc), but we managed ok. The house is old, but is in keeping with the other buildings in the area. However there are elements of the house that would benefit from being updated, e.g shelving in bathrooms,...
