Come watch the sunrise over Lake Petit from this extraordinary, 7000 square foot luxury lakefront home. Fabulous views of the lake from two huge wrap-around decks and most rooms. A short 20 minute drive to the new world renowned Gibbs Gardens

Exquisitely furnished with two great rooms each with large fieldstone gas fireplace, two fully-equipped kitchens - the main kitchen features Viking appliances and Sub Zero Refrigerator - top of the line appliances through-out + wet bar with icemaker and mini-refrigerator. Two washer/dryers, two master suites, (one with his and her bath, walk-through steam shower, and Bain Ultra Air Jet Tub), six bedrooms (includes three kings, two queens, four twins + 2 trundles & 1 full futon, seven full and 2 half baths (includes two whirlpool and 1 airjet). Close to all amenities. Rent a canoe or pontoon boat at the nearby marina or swim lake.

Beautiful Big Canoe is a spectacular gated golf and tennis community just 1 hour north of Atlanta, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Amenities include a 27 hole championship golf course, ten tennis courts (indoor and outdoor), new fitness center featuring: indoor pool, racquetball, exercise equipment, aerobics, snack bar and professional health services including: facials, massages, pedicures and more.

Our swim club includes: a swim lake with sandy beach, pool, waterfall rock slide, canoes, paddle boats and beach volleyball. We have three lakes for quiet boating (no gas motors), fishing and swimming. Hiking and jeep trails with picturesque waterfalls. A play field for basketball, baseball, soccer, walking and playground. Great restaurants and catering. Close to antique shopping, outlet mall, site-seeing, river rafting, speed boating, horseback riding, and so much more.

Bev was such a great host, stayed in constant communication with me on check in/how many guys i had coming. My team said mulitiple times what a great stay they had. Not only at the house but golf course was awesome to work with having a 16 man golf tourney, called the "SAVAGE INVITATIONAL".

Spectacular
Our family came in for a reunion and a wedding, we had 5 couples (no kids) and this house was perfect. So many compliments from the family as well. The patio was perfect to look at the sunrise, and enjoy viewing the lake. It was nice having a large table so we could all sit at it as well.

Great stay in Big Canoe
We loved our stay at the Boyd Villa. It was an extended family get-together with eight adults and three kids, and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Be sure to use the code that Jim and Beverly provide for discounts on the Beach Club passes and other activities. Gibbs Gardens and Amicalola Falls are each about 15 minutes away and make great off-property day trips.

Perfect house for large families
This house is perfect for a large, multi-family vacation. With so many bedrooms everyone has a comfortable bed and private bath. The location of the house is ideal as it is centrally located in Big Canoe and a very short drive to all of the available amenities. We have stayed in this house multiple times and each time have had a wonderful stay. The Boyd family is very communicative and works hard to ensure that all of your needs are met.

Wish we had more time!
The house was gorgeous, well appointed and very comfortable! The views are outstanding, truly one of a kind in such a beautiful community. The kitchen and living areas had everything we needed. Making memories with the family
We visited with our family, my brothers family and my sisters family, 7 cousins in all. The bunk room was amazing for the kids and we had all the space in the world for all of the families to spread out. We did a few hikes, rented a pontoon on the lake behind the house and spent a few days at the beach club which was a huge hit with all the kids from the 3 year old bouncing around in the pool to the 10-12 year olds doing countless laps on the obstacle course. Absolutely a vacation they won't forget.

Amazing Villa
My family, friends and I had a great time at this beautiful villa. Beverly was very easy to communicate with, helpful and extremely friendly. The property is exactly as described with an amazing location in the mountains where the trees have a different shade of green. Additionally, it has a great view of the lake that looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket. It was a wonderful getaway that I’d recommend to anyone and guarantee that in your moments there, you’ll be happy!
