Ski or snowboard down scenic trails, splash in a state-of-the-art water park and enjoy golf on a championship course at this invigorating mountain resort.

Visit Jay Peak for a memorable experience in Vermont’s spectacular Green Mountains. Carve down gorgeous powder runs on your skis or snowboard, let kids play at modern entertainment facilities and indulge in a luxurious resort lifestyle.

With deep annual snowfall, 78 trails and 385 acres (155 hectares) of skiable terrain, Jay Peak is a haven for alpine enthusiasts. Practice your ski or snowboard turns on the gentle trails of the Zone ski area. Afterward, cross the scenic Vermonter trail from the resort summit, at an elevation of 3,968 feet (1,209 metres), to more challenging runs through the mountain glades.

If you’re feeling adventurous, explore Jay Peak’s extensive backcountry. Be sure to arrange a ride home from the mountain base as none of the off-piste slopes feed back toward the resort.

Head to one of Jay Peak’s four terrain parks, which offer trick obstacles for skiers and boarders of all skill levels. Practice your grabs and spins at the beginner-oriented Landing Zone park or watch experts launching off the 60-foot (18-metre) kicker at Turbulence, Jay Peak’s advanced park.

In summer, play a scenic round of golf at the Jay Peak Championship Course, where manicured greens meander around natural waterways and lush forest patches. Admire sweeping views of flowery mountain meadows on the Aerial Tram cable car. Sign the kids up for Jay Peak summer camp, where they’ll experience scenic hikes, kayaking and fishing.

Ride thrilling slides or surf the Double Barrel Flowrider wave at Jay Peak Pump House, an indoor waterpark open from May through November. Let the kids enjoy themselves while you have wine and dinner at the Poolside Bar. Afterward, try skating around an NHL-sized skating rink at the Ice Haus Arena.

Find Jay Peak next to the town of Jay, Vermont, which is accessible via car or bus from the international airport at Burlington. The resort’s main lodging area is within walking distance of the ski lifts. The ski season usually lasts from mid-November to mid-May.
