Return Visit
Enjoyed our second year at Otter Lodge. The fire pit chairs were enjoyed every night around the fire. A wonderful, new addition and so appreciated! Had so much fun tubing the creek and fishing. We hope to make a visit again! Love that you kept the decor in the remodel.

Super Stay at Otter Lodge
Our family had a wonderful visit together at Otter Lodge. Everything was well stocked, very clean, and exactly as described. This is a wonderful house for kids-there are so many toys, games, and outdoor play areas. We loved having the stream out front, enjoyed the tubes, the firepit, and the screened porch. Access to the bike trail was great for walking and riding. I hope we can return for another visit in the future!

Well appointed comfortable home
House was lovely , clean and comfortable . Having kayaks and tubes for us to use was super fun . The fire pit in the evening beautiful. AC and WiFi great we had no issues with that at all. Just two suggestions possibly a later check out even just an hour and the path to the creek needs to be addressed. We are active seniors and that was a challenge and not safe for any ages . I do understand there are regulations regarding what you can do at waters edge, but even a railing would help especially when lugging kayaks and tubes . We had a lovely few days at Otter Lodge .

Our yearly April trip
The weather was really rough on us this year. But having this cozy cabin to hide out in was a blessing for the old folks. Everything is nice and neat. Beautiful scenery to feel that closeness to nature. Would highly recommend staying here.

This is the second year in a row our group rented the Otter Lodge, and we enjoyed this place again. We love the house, view, creek side location, quiet neighborhood, use of boats and bikes, great fireplace, washer/dryer and comfortable beds. We also noticed the new flooring and bathroom updates. Jen and Neihl were great host, we will be back.

Great weekend on the creek! Our family had a fantastic stay at the Otter Lodge. It was clean, well stocked, and had great extras- like the kayaks, bikes, fire pit and grill. The hosts were incredibly responsive and we really appreciated their communication before and during the stay. We can’t wait to book again!

Active but relaxing
Our entire group of very active adults and children ages 2, 7, 8, 9, and 11 loved this property. Productive fishing, tubing, kayaking, biking, hiking and bird watching and toys for the almost 3 year old kept everyone entertained. House is well stocked with movies, games, and toys. A clothes line of some type would be nice to hang wet bathing suits and life jackets, although there is an on site washer and dryer. We loved the house decor!

Our new favorite place!
My family and I (me, my husband, daughter, her husband and the 3 grandkids ages 13, 11 and 7) loved our stay at Otter Lodge! We really can't say enough good things about our days there but here are some highlights--right on the creek with creek access, 2 kayaks and at least 7 inner tubes, fishing poles, lots of places to sit and relax, swing set, deck with table, screened in porch, gas grill (looked brand new), 2 full bathrooms, huge dining table, lots of games, right on the bike path, 3 bikes available (nice bikes!), the cabin is super cute--so many nice touches--and very clean and spacious, kitchen had everything we needed. My favorite part was being right on the creek because I love to SUP board and swim, and the creek was deep enough right in front of the cabin to swim (HUGE PLUS FOR ME). My husband and son-in-law loved fishing. The grandkids loved catching tadpoles and minnows. We all did a float down the creek one day which was a lot of fun! We saw neat wildlife, too. It's such a great location. My husband and I slept upstairs and the bed was very comfy and that bedroom up there is HUGE with a nice bathroom and large closet. This is our new favorite cabin! If you love peace, quiet, nature, and beautiful scenery, you'll love this place!

The lodge was great, neat and clean just as advertised. The owners were quick to answer are questions and helped make us comfortable to include several excellent tips on fly fishing hotspots. Our gang went from 3 years old to 75 and we will all be back.

Not worth the money
The wifi is terrible. The tvs constantly froze, lagged, or didn’t even work. The dvd player didn’t work at all. The grill had to be lit with a lighter. Not sure how you’re supposed to sleep 12 people. All the beds are super hard and uncomfortable. The spot right out back for fishing is ok but not a whole lot of access to the water standing on the sidelines. Bring your waders if you plan on fishing there. The house water….OMG! It smells terrible of sulfur. Nobody wanted to shower! I gagged smelling it. They say it’s safe to drink but too much sulfur gives you diarrhea and dehydration. I don’t see how they think it’s ok to have the water like that. The house down the street is a way better option and is available on the site to rent.

Pine Creek 2023
This house was a great house and location. We are a group of 6 friends from college. We have been getting together for a stay on Pine Creek for the past 30+ years as an annual get together. This was the first time staying at this house and we all agree that we would like to make a return visit some day.

A spacious, functional, and scenic spot.
Me and around 7 friends have been camping on the Pine Creek for many years, and this cabin/home was the best we've had for space and comfort. The backyard was great for campfire and cornhole and cooking. The living room had a nice variety of furniture for all sorts of lounging, laughing, and listening to friends playing guitar. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen storage was amazing! We were able to store all our goods easily. One friend was surprised that we were asked to provide our own paper products, but we knew that in advance as well as the other things needed, so I thought that was acceptable if it helps keep the rental cost down. The proximity to the Clark Farm access and trailhead are a definite bonus. I chose to try one of the kayaks there, (the purple emotion) and realized after that it's instability was due to me being over it's recommended weight (better for those under 150lbs) The Old Town kayak would have been better for me. Having the screen porch and basement to hang our gear to dry was very nice too. Happy we got to see a bald eagle circle and land across the creek from us in the back yard! Overall a great stay!

Great place!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house; it was the perfect size for our family of 6. The location was wonderful, right along the creek with the bike trail right across the road. They provided 2 nice bikes, bike trailers for the kids, lots of tubes for the water and yard games. Indoors there were plenty of toys and games for the kids and adults, our grandsons had a wonderful time with them and they loved playing at the creek too. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. They don’t provide linens or towels but honestly, I like taking my own linens so I know they’re clean. The living room had a beautiful view of the creek with some really nice mounts in it. The rest of the house was a bit dated on the décor but that’s not why we were there. The water didn’t taste the best so we used bottled for drinking, it was fine for cooking and bathing. There was plenty of outdoor seating and a fire ring as well. The neighboring houses are close but they were pretty quiet so not an issue. The owner was very responsive to questions and very pleasant on the phone as well.

Needs improvement
It was a quiet, away from the outside world location and a good place for kids to explore nature. Now, the house wasn’t that great. The owner needs to improve a few things. * The house was not cleaned throughly. There was dust and spider web everywhere. The sofa bed was really full of dust like it hasn’t been opened for a million years!. *Screeners needs to be installed on each door. The first day we had to fight with a tons of Mosquitos and we didn’t have mosquito spray. *there wasn’t enough towels and enough toilet papers. *All beds only had only one blanket on them. So in order to covered ourselves from cold at night, we had to use our clothes to throw them on top or uncover the bed and sleep on the bed without blankets. *No soaps !! So I hope that the owners take on consideration this review so that their next customer will give them five stars. Spots clean the entire house don’t just vacuum floors,. Please make sure that the things I mentioned above get done.
