"El Pao was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. However there were some things that we did not expect. I stayed in the room with the bubble. I think it’s important to note that the only access to the room with the bubble are spiral stairs, not horrible but not also the best. "Pros: - Great location - Nice pools - Lovely scenery Cons: - There was a tv show being filmed when we arrived and there was no warning of this. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but they took up all the parking spaces and left us having to PAY to park underground. If you're going to have a TV show on then fair enough, but to make me pay for parking is bonkers - Staff were a bit blunt, again not a huge issue. But did make me feel a little unwelcome"

"Check in was fast and friendly. I booked a double room for single use with breakfast . Room 420. The room was large, spotless and had a nice bathroom. Sadly, the drink’s fridge was locked so couldn’t store any cool drinks and there is no kettle for tea and coffee. ( I always carry my own so no problem there ). "What a nice, cheek and stylish hotel. In the heart of Alicante beach boulevard. The staff cannot be more helpful and cordial. Very happy people! I have to mention that this was was 35 degrees celsius which is like 100 Fahrenheit fro those from USA and the Ac is the most silenced fresh and strongest in the 39 countries I have been. With that outside temperature I didn't even need to put the AC on coldest mode. The price to my surprise very affordable. I would hightly recommend this hotel "
