Other notable aspects
Your stay is self-catering, we will provide you with some basic items to welcome you, but we recommend that you allow time to stop and shop in Jinja before your arrival.
It is advisable to come in your own car. Please note we are on the 'village' dirt/murram roads so when it has rained things can be challenging, 4 wheel drive is recommended during the rainy season.
If you need a taxi or a local boda, we can provide you with contact details.
We do not offer accommodation or service for your drivers, cooks, babysitters, etc. They may stay as guests, if they register.
Please note that both houses are solar powered, as well as the borehole and hot water, so please be thoughtful and considerate with your water and energy use.
The toilets go to a septic tank, so no diapers, sanitary pads, wipes, etc. Discard these in the container provided.
There are 2 dogs on site, please do not feed them or allow them into the house.
Nearby is the village of Bujagali, about 15 minutes walk or just a few minutes drive, where you can find 3 restaurants/bars, several local food stalls and many adventure activities: rafting, kayaking, tubing, stand-up paddle boarding , boat cruises, quad biking and boat trips to attractions such as bird watching, fishing and horseback riding.
