"My husband and I loved our stay at Banksia Villa, and didn’t want to leave! It is one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, which is very important to us and so hard to find. It was also so so quiet, apart from our 2 little dogs who thought they had to bark at non existent disturbances now and then (so annoying! - sorry Petra and family!). The gardens and trees surrounding the villa create a most tranquil and peaceful atmosphere to relax and forget the world in. While feeling like it's far from everything, it's only 10 mins drive from town and so close to lots of lovely Margs wineries and eateries. And being able to have our dogs with us was so helpful and much appreciated. We hope to return again soon "
"We were heading to Margaret River to follow our footy team and decided to make a long weekend of it and stay for a couple of nights.
The weather was wet and very cold, but the Grande Escape turned out to be an excellent spot to stay. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable and warm, with very comfy beds.
We headed to the restaurant at night and enjoyed a great meal and then sat by the toasty open fire and had a nightcap.
The Resort is located about 2 minutes drive out of town and is set amongst beautiful trees and has a lovely pool.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably repeat it next year."

"The house in its day must have been a showstopper! It was comfortable and spacious for our group of 10. The location is fantastic and convenient. The views are breathtaking. The kitchen is well equipped to cook & entertain. The tennis court has seen better days but we still played, the pool is very small, more of a dipping pool. "
"Stunning location and a beautiful lodge—such a treat. We loved the short walk down to the river and truly appreciated the opportunity to unwind and escape the busyness of life back in Perth. The lodge is a secluded hideaway with a wonderfully welcoming feel the moment you arrive and walk up the steps to the entrance. It’s perfectly set up for a few days of relaxation, with thoughtful touches throughout. There's air conditioning or heating depending on the season, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, cozy lounges by the fire, a bedroom with a lovely view and TV, and a super comfortable bed. And to top it all off—an outdoor bath! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any couple looking for a peaceful escape."
