"We enjoyed our stay at the Thomar Boutique Hotel in Tomar. The hotel is nicely situated in the heart of the old town, easily walkable to the nearby cafes and restaurants. The staff was excellent - friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Our only complaint is that we purchased breakfast ahead of time, only to find out that the breakfast would not start until 8 AM, and we needed to leave for the Lisbon Airport at 7:30 AM. They were able to arrange a "breakfast box" for us...

"We booked two rooms overlooking the square. Each room was clean and very comfortable. The only odd thing is the glass wall to the bathroom. We are not used to this type of openess. Didn't ruin our stay but definitely a thing to think about if sharing a room with someone your not married to. Could get weird quick. The hotel was centrally located as well and close to the knights Templar castle. Overall, it was a great stay"

"This was a wonderful stay and location. Our check-in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly and gave us great dinner recommendations. The view from the hotel looking out at the castle at night was stunning. The hotel is also right off the main street and we walked to the old part of town in less than 5 minutes.
