The stone patio features a curated desert view, neighboring Joshua Tree National Park views to make you wonder how you've lived without it. An artists retreat with dense mature Trees and arty gardens of wonder with intricate sculpture details at every turn to enjoy your refresh and reset.
Expansive ceilings and cement floors flow in the zen vibe arty living space. Fire pit, and outside shower all encourage a reset. Stargaze from the expansive yard on a clear night and visit the Milky Way.
An Eco and forward living space almost off the grid with grey water systems, so you'll be watering the landscaping of Ponderosa Pine Trees and Sage bushes. Utilizing the mini split HVAC system reduces energy consumption while providing state of the art comfort, hot or cold outside you'll be comfortable inside. I've got Solar Panels, so you're powered by the Sun and, tankless water heaters. The house is your oasis. Feel the space and expansive desert, enjoying the yard and sun shaded patio (a very nice hang out with a fire pit and BBQ), make sure to stargaze as I’m in a very low light area.

Location, location, location! On a dirt road just 5 mins to Joshua Tree Village, My authentic Joshua Tree home is peaceful to relax and reset, spacious, artisanal, a private residence to reflect, create and reset with a very serene, open and refreshing vibe, vast views of this desert and all it's wonders of High Desert life.
The Main entrance is through the wooden gate onto the patio with a pergola, into the french doors opening up to the living room is a Samsung Smart TV streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu, a fireplace, Turntable with Vinyl, kitchen and large dining room. You'll feel bathed in light from the second bathroom skylight, refreshing and bright.
I open up to combine Ponderosa (the Studio) and Palo Verde (1 bedroom) spaces for a roomy 2 bedroom with a very large Master en Suite home vibe. Enter just beyond the dining room into the french doors of the master en suite, with a sitting area with 2 HD Buttercup Velvet couches, Samsung Smart TV, kitchenette and a private bathroom with a custom cement walk-in shower and a gorgeous bottle wall. Once you’re ready to rest and reset for another day, look forward to a dreamy night on my comfy King size bed. The second bedroom is a nod to a zen feel with a comfortable queen size bed, both sleeping areas are also well controlled with AC and heat.
You'll enjoy cooking a romantic meal in my well equipped open kitchen, inviting to create together or chat while preparing. The master en suite is very large with it's own bathroom, living room, kitchenette and screened in porch. Oh, and a hammock and futon too (sweet sleeping here when it's warmer).
If you've got some work, you’ll find a desk in both living spaces, in fact the desk in the Master Suite has a window to view the desert life, dawn and dusk are very busy times here for the wildlife...
My home with both front and back yards and 3 patios are exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, you'll take in the natural wonders here and the artsy feeling of zen to relax and unwind.
Walking in our neighborhood is a walk about in the high desert. See the horses that live down the street! Dirt road walking is perfect for a real feeling of being “out” and far away from everything, sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous. Close hiking very nearby. Please be mindful of the “No Trespassing” signs that some of the neighbors have put at their private properties.

This is a rural, very quiet and very little populated area which feels very Joshua Tree expansive, stylish, on a dirt road (your first ahhh moment), feeling of being very far out but still close to the JT Village, 8 minutes drive Joshua Tree National Park, 5 to Noah Purafoy Foundation, 13 minute drive to Pappy and Harriets, 20 minutes to Integratron, 20 to 29 Palms and 40 to Palm Springs. Walk right out the door for a walkabout through our beautiful High Desert sparse neighborhood where you feel like you are far away from civilization but close to everything you would do here, eateries, art, shopping and all you could want!
1 1/2 miles to the Joshua Tree Village where there are Restaurants, Artists Shops, Galleries, Adventure Store, Natural Food Market, Saturday Farmers Market, nightlife, the world famous beatnik lounge, and the Joshua Tree Saloon. Pioneer Town and Pappy and Harriet's is 14 miles. 1 1/4 Miles from the main Highway and 1 1/2 miles to the middle of the Joshua Tree Village. Integratron is 16 miles, Joshua Tree Park Visitors center is 1 1/2 miles and it's a 7 mile drive to the Joshua Tree Park's West entrance.
You will feel like you are way off the grid via a dirt road, still very close to everything Joshua Tree, Pioneertown, 29 Palms and Yucca Valley, all areas you'd like to visit.
I ask that you check in when you arrive and check out when you leave by sending a message or making a call.
I also ask you to sign a Rental Agreement within 24 hours of booking, this is for Liability, Insurance, Local Government and Resort Compliance, I really appreciate your doing this, the booking channels do not provide adequate protection say the powers that be.
I've set up to be as green as possible! Hot water is tankless and Solar Panels, so you're powered by the Sun. It's quiet and serene so quiet hours are after 10pm which means you can be outside with your quiet voice and mindful of serene noise inside. It's an expansive peaceful, quite refresh and reset experience here...

GETTING TO MY PLACE
You will travel a mile up from the highway to Sunburst to Dennis which becomes a dirt road (where we all experience our first ahhhh getting off the beaten path). All cars are safe on the dirt roads.
CLEANING / SANITIZATION
Heath, safety and wellbeing of our guests are of utmost importance to us. For this reason, we use a thorough and extensive process of cleaning after each check-out. Self-check-in is also employed to avoid unnecessary person-to-person contact, you'll get check in instructions morning of arrival.
SECURITY CAMERAS
We have 24/7 video/audio security cameras on the keypad of the entrance door of the property, and covering the front driveway of the property.
WEATHER
In the summer it's heating up! Bring hats and sunscreen, plan on your outside time being earlier in the day and drink more water than you think you'll need, once you are feeling thirsty, you're already dehydrated. In the winter it can be cold so bring layers as well as outdoor gear for keeping warm.
SEPTIC SYSTEM
In all of Joshua Tree, properties use a Septic System for waste. Please do not discard ANYTHING in the sinks (i.e. no food waste, cooking oils, etc. down kitchen sink) or toilet (other than the provided toilet paper). Following this policy will help avoid problems with the plumbing.
