"This is a wonderful place for a celebration being so close to Champagne .... thank you for making Fannie's 50th birthday celebration so special. The two houses have been lovingly restored in keeping with the period of the property which made for an extravagant setting for us. "We enjoyed a relaxing week here, the property is well equipped both in the kitchen and the rest of the house. The location is rural yet only 1.5hrs from Dijon and the Burgundy wine region is on the doorstep. The hot tub and sauna are a wonderful way to relax overlooking the river. The host was helpful."

"We enjoyed the villa very much, it is a good combination of a tasteful decorated old house with modern luxury. The garden has great outdoor seating areas and is fenced which was great for our dog. Nathalie is a very welcoming host. It is a pity that there is no bakery or restaurant in the village, you will need your car for that."

"Place is in a sorry condition, as soon as you hit the stairs you notice a weird stench, the building is old, I can hear the neighbors every time they walk around or flush the toilet. Not sure what was happening during my stay but there were doors being slammed repeatedly all afternoon. However, the place is equipped to accommodate cyclists and their bikes in the form of a dedicated secure storage space. For the price I would have expected the room to be better equipped and the place to be better maintained "

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"
