Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. When we entered the room it actually looked great with the bedroom being separate and up one flight of stairs but there was a damp musty smell that we thought may have just been from being closed. "Amazing place! So glad we chose to stay here away from the towns. We were still really close to Caen, Bayeux, and the WWII sites and even Mont St Michel! since we rented a car. They also upgraded our room to the deluxe! It was very spacious with amazing views from both windows. Highly recommend everyone to consider this hotel during their stay in Normandy. Oh and they also have like 5 kitties that stay at the place that are very friendly! Definitely a bonus for this cat lover 😅"
