The location, breakfast, and the view were great, but it’s too bad that our sink got clogged immediately after first use and the staff kept promising to fix it, but no attempts were made. I understand that it’s a historic building with old pipes but it seems that staff were aware of the issue and were just determined to ignore it.

Nice hotel and tiny room, but everything was nice and clean.

Lovely hotel. We stayed for 2 nights as it was just a quick flit over to Paris. Rooms were lovely, minor works needed to be done but overall fine. Super bathroom with lovely shower and deep bath tub. Only thing was we were charged 100€ deposit and had to ask what it was for. To anyone reading this review, it’s for the minibar if you have bits from it. If not, after checking the room, you’ll get your full or partial deposit back same day. Overall a nice experience. Close to Republic Square which you see on the tv when having demonstrations. Loads of bars/restaurants and Metro stations around.

We stayed here for two weeks and the staff was extremely friendly and nice. However, this is not a four star hotel. The room was very small with no place to put clothes so we couldn’t unpack. We never had enough towels or supplies in the bathroom. The whole place is shabby and in need of refurbishing. It is just barely a three star hotel.
