"We needed a local room while building work was going at our place. This was local. Check in was friendly and we were offered a selection of rooms, which was nice. We needed somewhere quiet. Unfortunately someone later took the room next door and played music all night til 3am and the walls are pretty thin. The shower was good, decent kitchen, tidy overall. Bed was pretty tragic, so a rough nights sleep but not all the Lodge's fault. I would probably give them another try if I had to."

"A small but wonderful cottage on the outskirts of town. Quiet and rural, we wanted a place to relax without traffic or noise. There are sheep and cows in the area, chickens, some cute bunnies and pheasants running around. The owners are wonderful people who helped us throughout our stay. "This listing is more then just a tad misleading... It says pet friendly, but no secure area for the dogs or any shelter. Leaving about 1sqm for the pets inside when it rains. The use of space in a tiny home is probably the worst ive seen. A big bed with ZERO use of wall space for storage. No toilet scrubber for the toilet is one of the finer details they are missing here.
